Skip Bayless Destroys Ja Morant After He Said He Would Cook Michael Jordan 1 On 1: “Maybe You’ll Cook For Jordan, But You Won’t Cook Jordan.”

3 Min Read

Ja Morant is one of the best young players in the NBA as of now. He proved how talented he actually is in the 2021-22 NBA season when he blossomed into an All-Star caliber player.

He also helped the Memphis Grizzlies make the NBA playoffs. Of course, Morant is one of the most electrifying stars in the league too. Watching his game feels like a treat to the eye.

Despite all these positives about his game. Morant seems to have increased the number of people who are his haters with his comments off the court. Most recently, Morant made the ridiculous claim of ‘cooking’ Michael Jordan in a 1 on 1 battle. Yes, you heard it right, Ja, who has spent just three seasons in the NBA, believes he could destroy Michael Jordan.

Of course, NBA fans weren’t happy with Ja’s claim, and he was vigorously called out by the fans. Adding to that, NBA analyst and worshipper of MJ, Skip Bayless, decided to call out Morant as well. Skip did so on a recent episode of “Undisputed.”

“Maybe you’ll cook for Jordan, but you won’t cook Jordan. You have no idea what you are talking about. No idea. You have to love the confidence, but when it goes completely over the edge, it’s delusional overconfidence, supreme overconfidence. It’s just hard to swallow. And he’s starting to scare me more and more because what exactly did you accomplish last year, young man? What did you do?

You somehow won the Most Improved Player after you were the second pick in the draft three years ago. To me, that’s more of an indictment than an achievement, because you look back at Year 1 and 2, I guess you were busting, right?

As Skip pointed out, after having just one good season in the NBA, Morant has seemingly become overconfident.

It’s obvious that he has let the small amount of success that he had last season get to his head. If he doesn’t let his feet hit the ground soon, he could ruin his career in one way or another. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to it, and Morant gets back into his senses.
