Snoop Dogg, Lakers Fans Absolutely Destroy Danny Green On Instagram

The Los Angeles Lakers fans weren’t happy with the performance of their team on Tuesday night. They lost the first game of the playoffs against the Portland Trail Blazers, who showed their heart and killer mentality against the purple and gold. Several players received criticism, including LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but one of the worst performers of the night was Danny Green, who missed a lot of shots, even the wide open.

Fans went after Green following the game. They were pissed off with the shooting guard, who went 2/8 from deep, hurting his team’s chances to overcome the Blazers and take the 1-0 lead. Green’s Instagram was flooded with comments criticizing his performance in Game 1.

Moreover, long-time Lakers fan Snoop Dogg also called out Green for his performance, playing with the message the sharpshooter has on his jersey. Snoop changed the “HOW MANY MORE” with a small caption below, which said, “F—— threes am I going to miss.”

Danny deleted his IG post, but the internet never forgets and the comments he received will stay here for eternity.

He was criticized for disappearing in big games with the San Antonio Spurs and the Toronto Raptors. Perhaps this will continue to happen with the Lakers, but Green is ready to turn things around and show everybody it was only a bad game. He took responsibility for his bad game and explained what the team needs to do from now on.

“Defense wasn’t the issue,” Green said. “Offensively we’ve got to get back to ourselves, find our rhythm, push the pace, make our open shots. We’re getting a couple open ones, could probably get some more, but making open shots — myself included especially — I’ve got to do a better job staying out of foul trouble so I can keep a rhythm.”

Portland already demonstrated they will capitalize on every mistake the Lakers make. Green and co. need to step up if they want to get past Damian Lillard and his dangerous squad.
