Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, the Splash Brothers, have effectively changed the NBA with their three-point shooting over their careers. With every NBA team looking to attempt as many three-pointers as possible, the low post-game has been marginalized and every side has at least one duo of Splash Brothers as we enter the 2024-25 season. We have collected the Splash Brothers for every NBA team and it might be surprising to see how many great shooters there are today.

Atlanta Hawks – Trae Young & Bogdan Bogdanovic

Trae Young 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.6 3PM, 35.5% 3-PT

Bogdan Bogdanovic 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.5 3PM, 38.4% 3-PT

For the Atlanta Hawks, Trae Young and Bogdan Bogdanovic form a dynamic shooting duo, confidently launching deep threes. Young’s ability to pull up from anywhere on the floor makes him a lethal threat, as evidenced by his career average of 2.6 made threes per game. Bogdanovic complements him perfectly, boasting a 38.4% clip from beyond the arc. Together, they stretch defenses to the breaking point but the question is always about whether Young will be part of the team’s long-term goal going forward.

Boston Celtics – Jayson Tatum & Jaylen Brown

Jayson Tatum 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.5 3PM, 37.5% 3-PT

Jaylen Brown 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.9 3PM, 36.4% 3-PT

The Celtics rely heavily on Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who have become pillars of Boston’s offensive identity. Tatum’s smooth stroke from deep (37.5% 3-PT) is lethal, and Brown’s ability to rise to the occasion with his 1.9 three-pointers per game adds to the offense. Whether it’s Tatum hitting tough shots off the dribble or Brown stepping up in crunch time, these two wings create a perimeter-scoring barrage that few defenses can handle. It is also impressive that the Celtics have other elite shooters such as Derrick White and Jrue Holiday, who might shoot higher percentages than Tatum and Brown but won’t be able to create perimeter offense as well as them.

Brooklyn Nets – Cam Thomas & Cam Johnson

Cam Thomas 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.3 3PM, 34.4% 3-PT

Cam Johnson 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.2 3PM, 39.2% 3-PT

For Brooklyn, the “Cam duo” of Thomas and Johnson steps up as the splashy sharpshooters. While Thomas is still developing consistency, he has shown flashes of offensive brilliance. Johnson, however, is a more established sniper, knocking down threes at a 39.2% career rate. Together, they bring an unpredictable element to Brooklyn’s offense, spacing the floor and giving defenders headaches trying to chase them around the arc.

Charlotte Hornets – LaMelo Ball & Brandon Miller

LaMelo Ball 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.9 3PM, 37.4% 3-PT

Brandon Miller 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.5 3PM, 37.3% 3-PT

LaMelo Ball’s fearless playmaking and deep shooting range make him the heart of the Hornets’ splash attack. He nails nearly three triples per game at a respectable 37.4%, and his chemistry with rookie Brandon Miller, a 37.3% shooter from beyond the arc, promises to elevate Charlotte’s perimeter game to new heights. This pairing gives the Hornets one of the most exciting young duos when it comes to lighting it up from three and we expect to see more from them next season.

Chicago Bulls – Zach LaVine & Coby White

Zach LaVine 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.2 3PM, 38.2% 3-PT

Coby White 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.2 3PM, 36.9% 3-PT

Zach LaVine and Coby White bring explosiveness to Chicago’s backcourt, combining athleticism with deadly shooting. LaVine’s smooth mechanics and high-volume shooting (38.2% 3-PT) give the Bulls a go-to option from deep. White, at 36.9%, adds a consistent threat, especially when coming off screens. When these two are in rhythm, the Bulls’ offense becomes nearly impossible to guard but this partnership might not last long considering LaVine is involved in trade rumors.

Cleveland Cavaliers – Donovan Mitchell & Darius Garland

Donovan Mitchell 3-Pt Career Stats: 3.0 3PM, 36.6% 3-PT

Darius Garland 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.2 3PM, 38.4% 3-PT

Few teams boast a backcourt with the three-point prowess of Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland. Mitchell, with his quick release and fearless shot-taking, connects on three deep balls per game. Garland complements him with his sharpshooting, draining 38.4% of his attempts. Together, they form one of the most potent guard tandems in the league, combining volume with precision to lead the Cavaliers’ perimeter charge.

Dallas Mavericks – Kyrie Irving & Klay Thompson

Kyrie Irving 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.4 3PM, 39.3% 3-PT

Klay Thompson 3-Pt Career Stats: 3.1 3PM, 41.3% 3-PT

Kyrie Irving was always going to be one-half of the Dallas Mavericks Splash Brothers but we have to name Klay Thompson ahead of Luka Doncic. Thompson shoots over 41% from three over his career and complements Irving perfectly when it comes to spacing the floor. Doncic is only nailing 34.7% from three over his career so unless he can take his efficiency upwards to 38%, he will have to finish behind Klay Thompson as Kyrie Irving’s Splash Brother.

Denver Nuggets – Jamal Murray & Michael Porter Jr.

Jamal Murray 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.1 3PM, 38.0% 3-PT

Michael Porter Jr. 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.4 3PM, 41.0% 3-PT

The Nuggets’ splash brothers, Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr., offer a one-two punch that perfectly complements Nikola Jokic’s passing brilliance. Murray, the playoff hero, drains threes at a 38.0% clip, while Porter Jr. boasts an even deadlier 41.0% from downtown. Their ability to space the floor and hit tough shots in key moments makes Denver one of the most dangerous shooting teams in the league although they could miss the outside presence of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope who departed in free agency.

Detroit Pistons – Cade Cunningham & Malik Beasley

Cade Cunningham 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.8 3PM, 32.9% 3-PT

Malik Beasley 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.3 3PM, 38.5% 3-PT

In Detroit, Cade Cunningham and Malik Beasley look to revitalize the Pistons’ outside game after a horrid season in 2023-24. Cunningham, known more for his versatility than his accuracy, still has room to grow as a shooter, but Beasley’s career 38.5% from deep provides a much-needed spark. This pairing offers a blend of potential and proven shooting ability, giving Detroit hope for a more consistent perimeter attack moving forward.

Golden State Warriors – Stephen Curry & Buddy Hield

Stephen Curry 3-Pt Career Stats: 3.9 3PM, 42.6% 3-PT

Buddy Hield 3-Pt Career Stats: 3.0 3PM, 40.0% 3-PT

No surprise here, as Stephen Curry, the greatest shooter of all time, continues his reign in Golden State, sinking 3.9 threes per game at a 42.6% clip. Now paired with Buddy Hield who has replaced the departed Klay Thompson, one of the league’s most prolific three-point shooters (40.0% 3-PT), the Warriors have a fearsome backcourt capable of raining triples from anywhere. Their combined shooting prowess ensures the Splash Brothers legacy remains alive and well in the Bay Area.

Houston Rockets – Jalen Green & Fred VanVleet

Jalen Green 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.4 3PM, 33.7% 3-PT

Fred VanVleet 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.5 3PM, 37.5% 3-PT

Houston’s young guard Jalen Green and veteran Fred VanVleet form a modern-day splash brother duo with contrasting styles. Green’s athleticism and flair add excitement to the Rockets’ offense, while VanVleet’s steady hand and 37.5% accuracy from beyond the arc bring stability. Together, they’re building the foundation for Houston’s resurgence, using the three-point shot as a key weapon in their game plan.

Indiana Pacers – Tyrese Haliburton & Aaron Nesmith

Tyrese Haliburton 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.5 3PM, 39.3% 3-PT

Aaron Nesmith 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.3 3PM, 37.4% 3-PT

In Indiana, Tyrese Haliburton has emerged as one of the league’s top young guards, thanks to his high-IQ play and sharp shooting. His 39.3% from three is elite, and Aaron Nesmith’s improvement as a three-point threat (37.4%) makes this duo a major force for the Pacers. They spread the floor and provide consistent spacing for Indiana’s offense, allowing the team’s pace-and-space philosophy to thrive.

Los Angeles Clippers – Kawhi Leonard & James Harden

Kawhi Leonard 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.6 3PM, 39.1% 3-PT

James Harden 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.7 3PM, 36.4% 3-PT

The Clippers’ star duo of Kawhi Leonard and James Harden brings both firepower and experience from deep. With Paul George gone, the pressure will be on Leonard and Harden to perform offensively in 2024-25. Leonard, always clutch with his 39.1% shooting from beyond, pairs well with Harden, who still nails 2.7 threes per game despite focusing more on playmaking in recent years. Together, they give the Clippers two elite shooters who can swing games with their deep-range ability and basketball IQ.

Los Angeles Lakers – LeBron James & D’Angelo Russell

LeBron James 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.6 3PM, 34.8% 3-PT

D’Angelo Russell 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.6 3PM, 36.9% 3-PT

LeBron James may not be known primarily as a shooter, but his ability to hit big shots, combined with D’Angelo Russell’s smooth 36.9% shooting from deep, makes for a formidable Lakers splash pairing. It is also important to mention that James was the Lakers’ best shooter last year, nailing a career-high 41.0% from deep. Russell’s outside shooting complements LeBron’s all-around game, and when both are clicking, the Lakers become a tough team to defend, especially with their ability to stretch defenses with the threat of long-range bombs.

Memphis Grizzlies – Desmond Bane & Luke Kennard

Desmond Bane 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.7 3PM, 41.5% 3-PT

Luke Kennard 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.0 3PM, 43.9% 3-PT

Memphis boasts one of the most efficient three-point duos in Desmond Bane and Luke Kennard. Bane, a rising star, knocks down 2.7 triples per game at a scorching 41.5%, while Kennard leads the league in accuracy, shooting 43.9% from deep. Together, they bring a high-volume, high-efficiency shooting combination that fuels the Grizzlies’ perimeter game and helps open up lanes for their aggressive inside play.

Miami Heat – Tyler Herro & Duncan Robinson

Tyler Herro 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.6 3PM, 38.5% 3-PT

Duncan Robinson 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.9 3PM, 39.8% 3-PT

Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson have become the embodiment of the Miami Heat’s perimeter attack, firing away with precision and confidence. Herro’s ability to create his shot and hit threes at a 38.5% clip makes him a focal point, while Robinson remains one of the league’s premier shooters at 39.8% from beyond the arc. Together, they spread the floor and create the space needed for Miami’s versatile offense to operate.

Milwaukee Bucks – Damian Lillard & Khris Middleton

Damian Lillard 3-Pt Career Stats: 3.1 3PM, 37.1% 3-PT

Khris Middleton 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.8 3PM, 38.8% 3-PT

The Bucks made a splash when they acquired Damian Lillard last season, one of the most feared shooters in the game. Lillard’s 3.1 triples per game and Middleton’s reliable 38.8% from deep give Milwaukee a backcourt that can light it up from long range at any moment. With these two sharpshooters on the perimeter, the Bucks have bolstered their chances of contending for another championship, fully embracing the modern three-point revolution.

Minnesota Timberwolves – Anthony Edwards & Mike Conley

Anthony Edwards 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.6 3PM, 35.3% 3-PT

Mike Conley 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.6 3PM, 38.7% 3-PT

Anthony Edwards’ rise as a three-point shooter (35.3% 3-PT) pairs well with Mike Conley’s veteran savvy and 38.7% accuracy from deep. Conley’s leadership helps guide Edwards as he continues to grow, and together, they create a balanced attack from outside. When these two are hitting their threes, the Timberwolves’ offense becomes more dynamic, opening up opportunities for Edwards’ explosive drives and Conley’s playmaking. Of course, Conley is the player who makes the cut considering All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns is no longer a part of the squad.

New Orleans Pelicans – CJ McCollum & Trey Murphy III

CJ McCollum 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.5 3PM, 39.9% 3-PT

Trey Murphy III 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.2 3PM, 39.2% 3-PT

CJ McCollum and Trey Murphy III give the Pelicans a sharp-shooting duo that can keep opposing defenses on their heels. McCollum, a seasoned scorer, has been a consistent deep threat throughout his career, hitting 39.9% of his threes, while Murphy’s emergence as a perimeter shooter (39.2%) provides New Orleans with an additional weapon. Together, they ensure the Pelicans have no shortage of outside firepower.

New York Knicks – Jalen Brunson & Karl-Anthony Towns

Jalen Brunson 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.5 3PM, 39.1% 3-PT

Karl-Anthony Towns 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.7 3PM, 39.8% 3-PT

In an unexpected twist, the Knicks’ Splash Brothers include a guard-big man combination with Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns. Brunson, though not traditionally known for his three-point shooting, still contributes a solid 1.5 threes per game at an efficient 39.1%. Towns, on the other hand, stands out as one of the best-shooting big men in NBA history, making 1.7 threes per game at an elite 39.8% clip. This unusual pairing provides the Knicks with a unique ability to stretch the floor, creating matchup problems for defenses.

Oklahoma City Thunder – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander & Jalen Williams

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.2 3PM, 34.9% 3-PT

Jalen Williams 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.2 3PM, 39.5% 3-PT

While not the most prolific three-point shooters, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams provide the Oklahoma City Thunder with capable threats from beyond the arc. Gilgeous-Alexander, more known for his slashing ability, still averages 1.2 made threes per game at 34.9%, while Williams adds another 1.2 threes per game on an impressive 39.5% shooting. Though their games are more well-rounded, their ability to hit the outside shot makes them a dangerous combo for the Thunder’s developing roster.

Orlando Magic – Jalen Suggs & Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

Jalen Suggs 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.5 3PM, 33.3% 3-PT

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.7 3PM, 36.9% 3-PT

The Magic’s Splash Brothers, Jalen Suggs and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, may not headline as the league’s top shooters, but their capability cannot be ignored. Suggs, despite being early in his career, has shown flashes of outside shooting with 1.5 made threes per game. Caldwell-Pope, the veteran, brings stability with 1.7 made threes at a solid 36.9% clip. Together, they provide the Magic with respectable floor spacing and the ability to hit timely three-point shots when needed.

Philadelphia 76ers – Tyrese Maxey & Paul George

Tyrese Maxey 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.0 3PM, 39.6% 3-PT

Paul George 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.6 3PM, 38.5% 3-PT

The 76ers boast an impressive Splash Brothers duo in Tyrese Maxey and Paul George. Maxey, a budding star, averages 2.0 threes per game while shooting 39.6% from deep, providing the Philadelphia 76ers with a lethal scoring punch. Pairing him with George, a seasoned sharpshooter who makes 2.6 threes per game at a 38.5% clip, gives the Sixers one of the most potent shooting backcourts in the league. The combination of Maxey’s speed and George’s size makes them a nightmare for opposing defenses.

Phoenix Suns – Kevin Durant & Devin Booker

Kevin Durant 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.9 3PM, 38.7% 3-PT

Devin Booker 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.1 3PM, 35.7% 3-PT

The Suns’ superstar duo of Kevin Durant and Devin Booker represents the pinnacle of shooting excellence. Durant’s ability to shoot over defenders, combined with his 1.9 threes per game at 38.7% from deep, makes him a unique threat. Booker, equally deadly, contributes 2.1 threes per game, although at a slightly lower 35.7%. Together, they form one of the most unstoppable offensive tandems in the NBA, capable of raining down threes from all over the court while commanding double teams at all times.

Portland Trail Blazers – Anfernee Simons & Jerami Grant

Anfernee Simons 3-Pt Career Stats: 24 3PM, 38.6% 3-PT

Jerami Grant 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.2 3PM, 36.4% 3-PT

The Portland Trail Blazers find their Splash Brothers in the dynamic pairing of Anfernee Simons and Jerami Grant. Simons has emerged as a prolific scorer, averaging 2.4 threes per game at 38.6%, providing the team with a youthful spark from long range. Grant, while known for his versatility, chips in with 1.2 threes per game at a 36.4% rate, making him a reliable secondary shooter. Together, they give Portland a balanced attack from beyond the arc.

Sacramento Kings – Kevin Huerter & Keegan Murray

Kevin Huerter 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.2 3PM, 38.2% 3-PT

Keegan Murray 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.5 3PM, 38.4% 3-PT

The Kings’ Splash Brothers in Kevin Huerter and Keegan Murray form a sharpshooting duo that gives opponents fits. Huerter’s smooth stroke has seen him average 2.2 threes per game at 38.2%, while Murray, a rising star, impresses with 2.5 threes per game at 38.4%. This combination of size and shooting range makes the Kings’ offense one of the most potent in the league, with both players capable of lighting it up from beyond the arc and keeping defenses honest.

San Antonio Spurs – Devin Vassell & Keldon Johnson

Devin Vassell 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.9 3PM, 36.9% 3-PT

Keldon Johnson 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.7 3PM, 35.8% 3-PT

The Spurs’ future looks bright with their Splash Brothers, Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson. Vassell, a young shooter on the rise, has consistently improved, averaging 1.9 threes per game at a solid 36.9%. Johnson complements him with his 1.7 threes per game, though at a slightly lower 35.8% clip. While not yet among the league’s elite shooters, their combined growth promises a future where they could be a dangerous long-range duo for San Antonio although we expect Victor Wembanyama to possibly throw his name into this conversation by the end of next season.

Toronto Raptors – Immanuel Quickley & RJ Barrett

Immanuel Quickley 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.0 3PM, 37.5% 3-PT

RJ Barrett 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.6 3PM, 34.6% 3-PT

The Toronto Raptors’ duo, Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett, may surprise some, but both have shown flashes of shooting potential. Quickley has developed into a solid shooter, averaging 2.0 threes per game at a respectable 37.5%, while Barrett, known more for his slashing, adds 1.6 threes per game at 34.6%. Although they are still developing, their ability to hit key outside shots makes them an important part of Toronto’s offense moving forward.

Utah Jazz – Lauri Markkanen & Collin Sexton

Lauri Markkanen 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.5 3PM, 37.5% 3-PT

Collin Sexton 3-Pt Career Stats: 1.5 3PM, 38.3% 3-PT

Utah’s pairing of Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton offers an interesting combination of size and speed in their Splash Brothers duo. Markkanen, with his ability to shoot over defenders, averages 2.5 threes per game at 37.5%, making him one of the top shooting big men in the league. Sexton, though more known for his scoring off the dribble, adds 1.5 threes per game at 38.3%. This inside-outside threat makes the Jazz a formidable team from beyond the arc and the franchise needs to continue to build around them.

Washington Wizards – Jordan Poole & Corey Kispert

Jordan Poole 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.3 3PM, 33.6% 3-PT

Corey Kispert 3-Pt Career Stats: 2.0 3PM, 38.8% 3-PT

For the Wizards, Jordan Poole and Corey Kispert provide a glimpse of the “what if” with their sharpshooting potential. Poole, known for his ability to create shots, averages 2.3 made threes per game despite a lower 33.6% percentage due to some struggles he has had over the past two seasons. Kispert, a more traditional shooter, offers greater efficiency, knocking down 2.0 threes per game at 38.8. The Wizards need their best shooters to make their shots and if they don’t, it could be another ugly season for them in 2024-25.
