As protests continue nationwide, the NBA community is using this time as an opportunity to spread awareness and inspire change for the social injustices plaguing this country.
Many teams and players have made statements about the state of racial inequality today, and some have even taken part in protests themselves.
Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are the latest players to be spotted literally standing with protesters. The march took place in Oakland, California.

Curry was joined by his wife, Ayesha, as protestors began chanting “No justice, no peace!” But they’re not the only ones speaking up.
Stephen Jackson, Patrick Beverley, Kendrick Perkins, Stephen A. Smith, and many others in the basketball community have made similar statements in support of the protesters and many more are expected to speak in the coming days and weeks.
This is an issue that transcends the sport itself and people are rallying behind this cause now more than ever. Curry and Thompson are recognizing the importance of this cause, and they’ve chosen to take a stand for their side.
