Perhaps no two players in the NBA have a deeper history than LeBron James and Steph Curry. As the two of basketball’s biggest faces, they met multiple times in the playoffs, carrying each of their respective superpowers to a Championship.

To many, the whole “Steph vs. LeBron” thing is akin to a rivalry. But for Steph himself, it’s just the fun of battle, and there remains an immense amount of respect between the pair.

“There’s obviously a lot of pettiness, competitiveness, and trash talking that went on during those runs but that’s the fun of it all. The respect level is always there.”

We’ve seen many duels between Bron and Curry over the years, and who knows if we’ll ever see another one again. For now, both stars are busy trying to lead their teams to glory, and we’ll just have to wait and see if their paths eventually meet up again.

Off the court, while it may seem like there should be bitterness and resentment, their relationship is all about respect and appreciation for each other’s game. LeBron has offered plenty of praise for Steph, and Steph just recently dished some compliments to James.

It’s kind of hard not to respect what they’ve been able to accomplish.
