Steph Curry Says The Warriors Dynasty Is “Not Done”

2 Min Read

After vie years of dominating the NBA, Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors hit a brick wall that not even they could overcome.

Durant and Iguodala’s departure was only one blow as Curry, Klay, and even Draymond Green would go on to deal with significant injuries. All-in-all, it decimated their chances in this most recent season and even though the Splash Bros are set to return relatively soon, nobody expects them to be the same.

But, according to Steph Curry himself, his team is not done– and they know it. Here’s what he said to Josh Schrock of NBC Sports.

“For us, big picture, we know we’re not done. Myself, Klay [Thompson], Draymond [Green] we know we’re not done. The core that’s been here since Day 1, we’re going to do everything that we got in our power — it’s going to look different, it’s going to have a new cast of characters that are going to contribute at a high level.”

It’s fair to point out that even in spite of their losses, the core of Draymond/Curry/and Klay remains intact. Together, those three are still among the best players in the NBA.

Additionally, it’s important to remember that the Warriors may have some reinforcements on the way. The result of the 2019-20 campaign could be a top lottery pick that they could use to draft or trade for another star.

As for new-comer Andrew Wiggins, he’s an ideal fit for the team, providing scoring power and depth at the wing.

At the very least, it seems the Dubs are going to be competing in the West for a very long time. Haven’t they earned the benefit of the doubt anyway?
