LeBron James once again had a terrific performance for the Los Angeles Lakers, going off against the Washington Wizards, dropping 50 points on his former teammates Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

It was the second 50+ game he recorded in a week, demonstrating that as long as he’s on the court, the Los Angeles Lakers will have a chance to win. The first one came against top-3 Golden State Warriors, and yesterday, he went off on the struggling Wizards.

Even though it was a duel of two teams with a lot of work to do to make the playoffs, LeBron stole all the attention with his incredible game. He scored 16 of his 50 points in the third quarter alone, leading the Lakers to a 7-point advantage entering the 4th quarter.

LeBron finished the game with 50 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, taking the Lakers to a 122-109 win over the capital team. Following the game, everybody was speechless after witnessing the greatness of James once again. ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith showered the 37-year-old in praise, stating that we must appreciate LeBron while he’s here because the void he’ll leave will be hard to fill.

“At this point, following another 50-point explosion, there is really only one thing left to say about @KingJames: we’re really really going to miss him…..when he’s gone!!!”

Even at 37, LeBron keeps showing he’s playing at the highest possible level. The Los Angeles Lakers have underperformed this season, but James has become a light for them. It’s unlikely that he keeps scoring 50 points every game, but as long as he’s on the court, the Lakers will be a menace for the rest of the competition.
