Michael Jordan used to say that you miss all the shots that you don’t take. Some players learned a lot from those words, as well as some fans. It’s not common to see regular people shooting their shots with artists, but nowadays things are a lot easier with social media being part of our daily life.

We’ve seen NBA stars sliding into some DMs, trying to get something thanks to their celebrity status, but it’s very odd to see an average person shooting their shot with one of the most famous women in the world.

Singer Saweetie recently attended a Los Angeles Clippers game. The Clippers mascot took her to dance, starring in one of the best moments of the game, with the lady showing that she has moves.

Moreover, after the game was over, a fan saw a chance to approach the Icy Girl and didn’t miss it. However, it didn’t turn out as well as he wanted.

A TikTok video shows a fan spotting Saweetie and recording her with his phone. What comes next came as a total surprise, even for the singer, who was in shock after the fan made his proposal.

“You gone let me take you on a date?” the brave fan asked.

It took a couple of seconds for Saweetie to reply, but she categorically denied the request, using a single word.

“Boy,” she said while hitting the guy in the shoulder for making such a bold question.

It was a fun moment between the star and the fan, but he couldn’t score this time. Still, it takes a lot of guts to see a beautiful woman like Saweetie and ask her on a date. Even though he was rejected, mad respect for that fan. As MJ said, you miss all the shots you don’t take and this guy didn’t even hesitate.
