The offseason is one of the best and worst times for a basketball fan. While there is no basketball action to root for on the court, there is a lot of activity around the NBA when it comes to player movement through the draft and free agency. Outside that, it is often amazing to see players that compete on the court every day live their regular lives and hang out with each other as friends.

That has happened various times this offseason already. Kevin Durant and James Harden were together in London attending a Travis Scott concert, and that has led to incessant speculation on a trade that sees KD moved to the Philadelphia 76ers to team up with Harden once again.

Jayson Tatum’s father shared a story on Instagram from the wedding of Draymond Green, where he and Jayson can be seen hanging out with Seth Curry, Stephen Curry, and Rich Paul, the agent of LeBron James and the CEO of Klutch Sports Group. Tatum lost to Steph Curry and Draymond Green’s Golden State Warriors in the 2022 NBA Finals.

This picture may open Tatum up to a bit of slander from the older generation of fans that won’t be happy seeing him chill with Steph at Draymond’s wedding after the Finals series between the Celtics and the Warriors.

Rich Paul represents many players across the NBA, and Draymond Green is one of them, meaning it was natural for him to be present at the wedding. Paul’s ties with LeBron will naturally get some people trying to discuss if Paul was doing any recruiting on behalf of the Lakers. Spotted in the picture is also Seth Curry, who has been linked to LA as part of a Russell Westbrook-Kyrie Irving trade.

This is just a bunch of people that have become friends over their various battles on an NBA court and are allowed to enjoy each other’s company in the offseason if they want to. Safe to say, all gloves will be off when the 2022-23 NBA season starts in October.
