Stephen Curry On Lakers And LeBron James: “It’s Pretty Awesome To Watch As A Competitor What He’s Got Left In The Tank At This Level, At This Time In His Career… They Have Championship Confidence…”

LeBron James keeps demonstrating he’s not only one of the best players in the NBA but one of the best to ever do it in the history of the competition and truth be told, nobody knows when that will end. James is 36 and he’s still playing at the highest level, leading his Los Angeles Lakers to become the best team in the West this campaign.

James is earning more and more praises for his good level at this age, after 18 seasons in the association. Recently, Stephen Curry talked about him, showing his admiration for the player and the way he’s handled his body to remain competitive at this point. LeBron is really great at it and even Steph had to praise him for that.

“It’s a great model to have in terms of longevity. He obviously takes care of himself, it’s no secret around and this generation of players, all have that kind of mindset. But he’s definitely pushing the envelope in terms of how you think about players that at his age, and these many years, and then obviously coming out of high school he had a head start, but it’s pretty awesome to watch as a competitor what he’s got left in the tank at this level, at this time in his career.”

Talking about the Lakers, Curry explained that once that they won their first title, the second one would be “easier” or more likely for them.

“They have championship confidence and once you get to the mountaintop, it’s an unreal feeling trying to carry it over into the next season. The consistency of how they play, chemistry, having new additions, they have an identity and know how to play off each other. Bron and AD playing at a very high level, but everybody playing their part.”

Steph has been praising LeBron for the past couple of days, always talking about The King’s longevity and how much he’s done for his body to be playing at the level he’s playing right now. After winning his first title with the Lakers, LeBron is ready to defend it this season and so far he’s doing a great job.

Lakers and Warriors clash tonight at Staples Center in their first duel of the young NBA campaign.
