Marcus Morris Praises Paul George’s Level: “He’s Definitely Playing MVP Basketball.”

2 Min Read

Paul George is having a terrific second season with the Los Angeles Clippers after the fiasco they all lived in the Orlando bubble a couple of months ago. Although the Clippers started this season with plenty of doubts about their roster and the chemistry between their players, they have been just fine.

George has been very vocal about the team’s issues and is always trying to get the best out of his teammates. He’s been great both on and off the court and teammate Marcus Smart didn’t hesitate to praise PG for the good season he’s having so far. After the Clippers took care of the Indiana Pacers with a 129-96 win, Morris was quick to praise him, even calling him MVP.

“I feel like our energy is way better this season. Guys are buying in, guys are enjoying playing the game. Obviously, there’s been a lot of talk about PG… I’m excited to see how far he can take it. He’s definitely playing MVP basketball.”

The Clippers have starred in more embarrassing moments this campaign, as their incredible defeat against Dallas or their collapse against the Golden State Warriors two weeks ago. However, Tyronn Lue and co. have apparently found their touch and are going through a four-game winning streak. PG has done a terrific job so far and as he said a couple of days ago, his vengeance is coming.

The season is still young and George has a lot to do to change the narrative about him. Nevertheless, plenty of people are noticing he’s playing great basketball now and the Clippers should be extremely happy about it.
