Stephen Curry is known as the best 3PT shooter in history, as well as a top-tier superstar in the league. He has been putting up 28.7 PPG, 7.5 RPG, and 6.5 APG this season while shooting 39.7% from beyond the arc. It’s clear that he’s still playing at an MVP level like he did last season, and perhaps we’ll see that continue.
One of the issues that Stephen Curry has had this year though, is intermittent scoring in the 4th quarter. While he did make some big shots during the Warriors’ game against the Los Angeles Clippers, he has not made any shots in the 4th quarter/overtime in the last 3 games.

The Oklahoma City Thunder game shouldn’t necessarily be held against him, as the Warriors were blowing out the Thunder in the 4th quarter, meaning that Curry’s clutch shooting wasn’t needed. However, there have been some fans that have been clowning Stephen Curry for struggling in the 4th quarter in other games.
With that being said, it seems as though coach Steve Kerr isn’t worried at all about Curry’s shooting. When questioned about the situation Kerr claimed that Curry’s 4th quarter scoring struggles were “the biggest fluke of all-time”.

It is clear that Stephen Curry didn’t just suddenly lose his ability to score in the 4th quarter, and we’ve seen him score in clutch moments plenty of times in the past. Stephen Curry is the Warriors’ go-to guy, and that isn’t going to change. At the end of the day, the team is 5-1, even without Curry scoring in late-game situations.
Stephen Curry had a spectacular season last year, winning the scoring title and shattering records. It is highly unlikely that a two-time MVP like him will continue to be scoreless in the 4th quarter, and perhaps we’ll see him have a huge game with clutch moments soon, to quiet down all the talk about his scoring woes in the 4th quarter.
