Steve Kerr Praises Andrew Wiggins: “He’s Looked Fantastic Since The Break.”

Andrew Wiggins is a great player, who has often been billed as inconsistent throughout his NBA career. However, during his time with the Golden State Warriors, Andrew Wiggins has found a degree of consistency, currently averaging 17.7 PPG and 4.6 RPG, while playing some phenomenal defense on some of the best players in the league.

Andrew Wiggins has been great defensively, but his offense leads some people to think that he could do more as a scorer. Recently, Andrew Wiggins dropped 40 points against the Memphis Grizzlies. Steve Kerr praised Wiggins, claiming that he’s looked fantastic since the All-Star break.

Steve Kerr on Andrew Wiggins: “He’s looked fantastic since the break.”

Sometimes the course of a season can wear down a player, and the All-Star break is a great opportunity for many players who are not participating in the event to recharge their batteries. Andrew Wiggins has had some other solid scoring nights since the break, dropping 28 points in the Golden State Warriors against the Utah Jazz. Andrew Wiggins will need to step up as a scorer with Klay Thompson out due to injury, and the Warriors will need his scoring to make the playoff this season.

Hopefully, we get to see Andrew Wiggins score the ball more over the course of the season. He has the talent to do so. Wiggins has already improved a lot on the defensive end this season: perhaps that improvement could also happen on the offensive end. If Andrew Wiggins becomes a consistent 20 PPG scorer, then the Warriors will be a dangerous opponent to any team.
