Streaming Star JiDion Banned From All NBA Games After Sleeping Courtside During A WNBA Game
Courtside seats at NBA and WNBA games are not cheap. These seats are the closest fans can get to the players and the actions, so it comes as no surprise that they are not easy to get your hands on. Mostly, a lot of celebrities can be found sitting in these seats, cheering on their favorite players over the course of a season. But one celebrity fans shouldn't expect to see is young streaming superstar JiDion.
JiDion posted a video on his YouTube channel called 'Don't Sleep on the WNBA'. Where he attended a game. JiDion has a reputation as a prank YouTuber who does a lot of unexpected things in situations. As a part of this video, JiDion actually sat courtside at a WNBA game and was sleeping.
In the video, JiDion was kicked out of the game entirely after grabbing a ball that went out of bounds and shooting it. And as a result of this video, the NBA and WNBA announced that JiDion was banned from attending any future games for either league. This decision came very quickly after the video went up.
JiDion Is Not New At Pranking The NBA
This is far from the first time JiDion made the news when it comes to the NBA. Earlier this year, JiDion went viral when he bought courtside seats to a Minnesota Timberwolves game and got a haircut while sitting courtside. Even Karl Anthony-Towns and Anthony Edwards were shocked at the antics.
There is an argument to be made that when you buy courtside seats, you can do whatever you want if you aren't interfering with the game.
However, this latest move from JiDion could be seen as disrespectful to the WNBA and their players, who have struggled in the past to garner attention towards their league. JiDion sleeping during their game, a gesture that would imply boredom, would not help their cause.
