LeBron James is, without a doubt, one of the greatest players of all time. James has found success wherever he has played and almost whomever he has played with. Many players have spoken about what it is like to play with LeBron James and how easy he makes the game. But Austin Reaves gave fans an insight into what LeBron is like as a teammate off the court.

During an appearance on the ‘All The Smoke’ podcast, Austin Reaves was asked about what LeBron James is like as a teammate. Reaves hilariously remarked that LeBron was like a big kid. He added that LeBron always keeps spirits high in the locker room, keeping a positive attitude and making jokes with his teammates.

“He acts like a damn kid. He acts like he’s like 18. I never really see him in a bad mood. Always joking, laughing, (and) having a good time. For someone that you put on a pedestal because he’s done what he’s done, for him to just be so personable…”

“You could talk to him about anything. You can have good conversations with him, you could joke around like I said. The best thing about him is that he comes to work every day happy.”

Reaves clearly has a lot of respect for LeBron James, not just as a player, but as a teammate and as a person. Austin Reaves lauded LeBron James for bringing a healthy and positive mindset to the locker room and making sure that everyone has a good time.

LeBron James Looking To Get Back To Winning Ways Next Season

As much as LeBron James brings a positive attitude to his team, he and the Los Angeles Lakers will have a chip on their shoulder next season. Last year, after almost being written off, the Lakers went on a miraculous run from the play-in tournament all the way to the Western Conference Finals.

With a few new players, an offseason to recover, and the bitter taste of getting swept still fresh on their minds, LeBron James and the Lakers will be ready to avenge last season and make a run for the NBA championship.

LeBron James recently had a hilarious reaction to being the second-oldest player in the NBA. But despite his age, James is still one of the best players in the league and capable of playing at a championship level.

Last year, James averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists. If he can put up similar numbers, the Lakers will be a threat in the Western Conference.
