The Memphis Grizzlies continue to make the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

As if the whole Ja Morant situation wasn’t bad enough, Dillon Brooks has got himself in trouble for shoving a cameraman during their game against the Miami Heat.

The individual suffered an injury because of it and remains under evaluation, as per Jason Jackson.

Brooks has been blasted from all corners for this incident. While he could certainly claim that it was accidental, the fact that he never even bothered to check on the individual after it is a bad look. He doesn’t seem to have made any attempt to reach out afterward either, as Stephen Curry did when he accidentally hit a ball boy with a tunnel shot. Many have called for Brooks to be suspended, but the NBA clearly doesn’t think it merited that.

We hope the individual has a speedy recovery and he could pursue legal action against Brooks for this incident as well. Brooks has taken over this villain role in the NBA and while it’s one thing to talk trash about the likes of Draymond Green, it’s another to do things like this.

The Grizzlies Are Turning Into The Most Hated Team In The NBA

While talented young teams generally tend to be loved by NBA fans, that certainly isn’t the case when it comes to the Grizzlies. Their cockiness, for a team that has won nothing yet, has been a major turn off and that combined with some of these incidents makes them quite easy to root against.

Desmond Bane recently got ejected for a shot at Kevin Love’s groin and whether accidental or not, these things just seem to keep happening from time to time. What is clear though, is that Grizzlies don’t care too much about what people from the outside think of them. They’ll keep doing things their way and seem to have embraced the villain tag that has been placed on them.
