The Houston Rockets are anything but a stable organization right now. The Texans have been living a couple of rough months, even before the start of the season, with James Harden trying to force his exit of the team after spending the last 9 years with the organization.

Harden finally left in mid-January and the Rockets started to play better but things have gotten worse in recent weeks. On Sunday, they suffered their 11th consecutive defeat, against the Memphis Grizzlies, losing by 49 points to Ja Morant and co. This was a very bad performance by the team and it’s very clear they have a lot of things to figure out before becoming a competitive team again.

They have lived 24 hours full of bad news. First, it was reported that Victor Oladipo turned down a $45 million, two-year extension with the team, as he’s looking to get a long-term deal. After that, they were beaten at home by the Grizzlies, 84-133, falling to 11-21, ranking 14th in the Western Conference. Moreover, John Wall was very critical of the team, using very strong words to describe the situation of this squad.

“This sh*t is a**. Terrible,” he said after the Grizzlies dominated the Rockets.

John Wall: This shit is ass. Terrible.

Grizzlies 133, Rockets 84. Rockets with the worst shooting (27.7 %) in franchise history and 23 FGs, matching their fewest ever.

They need to do something if they still have hopes to play in the playoffs this campaign. James Harden said the night before he was traded that this team wasn’t good enough to compete and time has proven him right. These Rockets are a hot mess right now and they don’t seem to have the answer to all the questions around them.
