The Lakers Broadcast Team Made A Mistake And Posted Isaiah Thomas Instead Of Russell Westbrook

The Los Angeles Lakers broadcast team made a really big mistake when they put a picture of former Washington Wizards Isaiah Thomas instead of Russell Westbrook, the player originally expected to appear as the team’s starting point guard.

The announcers went with the introduction of players as they normally do but they sounded a little confused when saying Westbrook’s name. A little issue updating the players’ images. They did say the Lakers would have a hard time trying to stop him and Bradley Beal and that turned out to be true.

They combined for 65 points in the Wizards’ 117-114 win over the purple and gold on Monday night. The Lakers saw the real Russell Westbrook on the court and they couldn’t do anything to stop him from scoring 32 points in the 2OT win.

It was a very good game that saw LeBron James missing clutch free throws and 3-pointers, which ultimately ended in the capital team winning the match at Staples Center. Brodie and Beal keep improving their game and the Wizards are on a very good streak right now, while the Lakers are the complete opposite ever since they lost Anthony Davis.

As for Isaiah Thomas, he recently joined Team USA in Puerto Rico to play in the FIBA AmeriCup qualifiers. He last played for the Wizards before getting traded to the Los Angeles Clippers, who waived him a couple of days after his trade.
