At any given point in time in the NBA, you’ll have players who get labeled as villains due to their trash talk or their antics on the court and Grayson Allen is definitely one of them. There is a lot to admire about the way the Milwaukee Bucks have established themselves as one of the NBA’s heavyweights but Allen’s presence on their roster has drawn the ire of fans quite often.

Right from his days in college, Allen has been viewed as a cheap shot artist and that reputation has only grown during his time in the league. No one will forget his infamous dirty play on Alex Caruso last season and he got into it with DeMar DeRozan this season as well, which led to the Bulls announcer saying someone needs to give Allen a “two-piece”. With Allen having painted a target on his back, opponents love to take shots at him and the Miami Heat brutally went at him after they beat the Bucks.

“Can’t trip him if he’s ten feet off the ground.”

Allen really gained that reputation as a dirty player because he used to trip his opponents often during his college days. This tag on him is never going away and it is a shame that the Bucks continue to stand by Allen despite his track record.

Khris Middleton Could Opt Out Of His Deal And Leave The Bucks

This was the second defeat in a row for the Bucks against the Heat, after losing to them on Thursday, although to be fair, Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t feature in either of the games. While the Bucks would normally find ways to win without their superstar, the problem this season has been Khris Middleton’s absence.

He missed the start of the season with a wrist problem and after playing 7 games, was ruled out indefinitely with a knee injury. Rumors are now circulating that he will opt out of his player option and test the market, but you have to wonder how much interest there will be in his services after this injury-riddled campaign at his age.
