Desmond Bane has been quite impressive early on and has made the most of every single minute he’s had during his first year in the Association. The rookie out of TCU is a never-ending source of energy and has proven to be a huge threat from long range as well, pulling up from three 3.7 times per game and knocking down 1.8 three-pointers a night thus far.
9. Joe Ingles – 46.0 3P%
Joe Ingles has to be one of the most underrated players in the world. There’s nothing he can’t do at an elite level, and even if he’s not athletic, he’s the kind of competitor and smart guy that every single coach would love to have on his team. Also, his three-point shooting is perhaps his best trait this season, as he’s taking 5.4 shots from downtown and making 2.5 of them.
8. Byrn Forbes – 46.0 3P%
The San Antonio Spurs must be regretting letting Bryn Forbes walk away in free agency, as they’re struggling to knock down shots from deep, while he’s doing that at a high clip for the Milwaukee Bucks. This season, the fifth-year player is showcasing his best trait night in and night out, thanks to his 2.2 three-pointers on 4.6 attempts a game. His presence opens up a lot of space for Giannis’ drives.
7. Seth Curry – 46.8 3P%
A couple of years ago, you’d probably expect to see Stephen Curry and not Seth Curry on this list. Then again, the younger brother of the Curry household has made a name for himself for being one of the most proficient snipers to ever set foot on an NBA hardwood. He’s thriving now with the Philadelphia 76ers, knocking down 2.0 three-pointers per game.
6. Malik Monk – 47.3 3P%
It took him way more than we thought but it seems like Malik Monk has finally found his groove in the league. Following countless struggles, the former lottery pick has become a massive threat from three-point territory this season. So far, he’s netting 2.2 of his 4.8 attempts from beyond the arc, and hopefully, he’ll get better and finally fulfill his potential.
5. Marcus Morris – 48.0 3P%
Marcus Morris has always been the most talented scorer between him and his brother but he’s never been known for being a sharpshooter. This season, however, he’s finally turned things around and is having the best shooting year of his career, which is great news for the Los Angeles Clippers. Up to this day, he’s netted 59 threes on a career-best 48.0% shooting.
4. Paul George – 48.1 3P%
Paul George was having an MVP-caliber season before being forced to miss some time due to a foot injury. Gladly, he’s picked up things right where he left them and continues to be one of the most prolific and efficient scorers in the world in 2021. Right now, he’s knocking down 3.7 three-pointers on 7.7 attempts a night, which is good for a whopping 48.1%
3. Bobby Portis – 50.0 3P%
Bobby Portis made it to the NBA thanks to his hustle, grit, and energy. He’s never been much of a defender, let alone a shooter, but as it happens more often than not, he’s finding some new aspects of his game now that he’s finally in a winning environment. Portis has provided the Milwaukee Bucks a huge boost off the bench with 11.3 points per game and 1.1 three-pointers a night on 50% shooting.
2. Jeremy Lamb – 50.0 3P%
Jeremy Lamb has always been known for his ability to put the ball through the hoop and it’s great to know that he hasn’t missed a beat despite that gruesome injury he suffered a year ago. He’s been great for the Indiana Pacers since coming back and is having a career-year in terms of three-point shooting. The sample size is limited but he’s still scoring 1.9 triples per game this season.
1. Joe Harris – 50.4 3P%
Imagine being on the same team with James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving; and still being the best shooter on your team. Well, that’s the case with Joe Harris, who’s once again leading the race for the most efficient three-point shooter in the league – and it’s not even close. Up to this day, he’s scored a grand total of 112 triples and is on pace to break his personal best of 183 in a season. Also, he’s topping his career-high of 47.4% shooting by a long stretch.
