Tracy McGrady: ‘Russell Westbrook Is The Best Player On The Houston Rockets Right Now”

1 Min Read

In what has otherwise been an amazing season for James Harden, his last two games have been pretty awful. As the Rockets ride a four-game losing streak, the Beard has averaged 31 points per game on just 35% shooting and 26% shooting from beyond the arc for the month of January.

His efficiency and decision making this past month have been just plain bad, and people are starting to take notice.

According to Tracy McGrady, Russ is the best player on the Rockets.

Westbrook has been a sort-of white night for the Rockets lately. With Harden struggling, Russ has adjusted his game to become more efficient and get others involved.

Though Houston has not fared too well, they’d be much worse if Westbrook hadn’t been stepping up.

This sort of inconsistency has become somewhat normal for the Rockets. All season long, they’ve had stretches of both good play and bad. Will they be able to find their stride come playoff time?

No doubt, if they are to have any success there, Harden will have to be at the top of his game.
