Trae Young Announces He’s Signing With Klutch Sports

LeBron James, Anthony Davis, John Wall, Draymond Green, Ben Simmons — the list of athletes represented by Klutch Sports is long and extensive and, today, yet another player has joined their ranks: Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks.

The move was suspected after it was announced Young’s agent, Omar Wilkes, departed Octagon to accept a position with Klutch Sports as the head of basketball operations.

Reports stated that Young had been “fielding his options” up until he made his final decision.

Sources say Young will soon begin the process of interviewing agents and is weighing all of his options. He is in no rush to make a decision, but sources say the frontrunner for the Hawks’ franchise player is the agency founded by Rich Paul.

It’s no secret that Klutch has major ties to LeBron James. His agent, Rich Paul, recently moved up to President of the organization. As a result, it is often that players who sign with Klutch get connected to LeBron or the Lakers — as was the case with Anthony Davis.

While that could certainly be the case here, it seems Young just wants to keep in touch with Mr. Wilkes as he builds up his resume and reputation as an NBA superstar.

We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
