The Chicago Bulls host the Milwaukee Bucks tonight, hoping to get revenge after their last duel. It was a hard-fought matchup between the Bulls and Bucks that saw Grayson Allen take down Alex Caruso while he was in the air, injuring the guard. That play took place in January and the former Los Angeles Lakers player is yet to return to action.

Meanwhile, the 6x NBA champions are getting ready to face the Bucks, and especially Allen. One of the newest members of the squad, Tristan Thompson, reflected about the play involving his teammate and the controversial player.

Talking about tonight’s matchup, the 2016 NBA champions took offense on that play, saying that he’s ready to defend his teammates against anybody trying to hurt them. This is interesting since Tristan wasn’t part of the Bulls at the time, but he’s ready to deal with any disrespect towards him or the rest of the team.

Shit. Take one of my dogs out like that, we’re gonna have issues so. You gotta set the tone. That’s what Bulls basketball is about, setting the tone. What he did affected one of our guys, and I don’t think anyone should forget about that. So I’m pretty sure the United Center is going to be rocking tomorrow. I think guys have (it) in the back of their head. And if guys wanna play chippy let’s play chippy. I like it. I like a little blood and sweat, so I enjoy it.

It’s good to see that Tristan is already embracing his teammates. The big man has been on the team for a couple of weeks now, but he’s ready to go against anybody. Chicago will try to improve their record against top-6 teams with a win over the defending NBA champions. Milwaukee will try to tie them at the 3rd position in the East, so we must prepare for a terrific matchup.
