Tristan Thompson has been making headlines in the past year due to his off-court antics. The former Cleveland Cavaliers player is now more famous for being a ladies’ man than for his NBA career, and whenever we hear something new about him, it’s nothing good at all.

Last year, he was accused by a woman of being the father of her child, but Thompson denied all of that. After a paternity test came back positive, the 2016 NBA champion apologized to Maralee Nichols and agreed that he would try to raise the baby in a friendly way.

This situation cost Tristan his relationship with Khloe Kardashian, who suffered a lot due to this. It’s been almost a year since this whole situation started, but Thompson and Nichols settled the paternity lawsuit at last.

Tristan Thompson Will Pay Nearly $10K To Mother Of 1-Year-Old Son

TMZ Sports reports that Thompson and Nichols agreed on this issue, and the player will pay nearly $10,000 to his baby mama per month. As usual, this situation could have been avoided if better decisions had been made, but now it’s too late to change everything.

Tristan Thompson has hammered out a paternity settlement for his second-youngest child — where he’ll shell out monthly … TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us … Tristan Thompson and Maralee Nichols have agreed to terms for Theo, their 1-year-old son. We’re told Tristan will pay $9,500 a month in child support and also covered some of Nichols’ lawyer fees.

Our sources say Maralee will have sole custody, and while they haven’t figured out an official visitation plan yet, those talks will come in the near future.

TT is a free agent right now after playing 23 games with the Chicago Bulls last season. He has signed huge contracts over his career, and $10K per month won’t be a problem for him. He and Nichols still need to figure some things out, but things look good for them and little Teo right now.
