Luka Doncic is, without a doubt, one of the most talented players in the league today, and he is already a top-tier superstar. This past season, Luka Doncic averaged 28.4 PPG, 9.1 RPG, and 8.7 APG.

Recently, Luka Doncic’s skill was captured on a video that has since gone viral. Twitter page Bleacher Report has posted the video, which featured Luka Doncic nailing a shot from full court during shoot around.

There is no doubt that this is absolutely insane. While we do see players make long-distance 3PT shots in the game today, generally, players don’t hit shots from full court. While obviously, there is some luck involved in making one of these shots, it is absolutely clear that it requires some skill as well.

Currently, Luka Doncic is representing the Slovenian national team, as he will be competing in the EuroBasket tournament starting September 1st. It remains to be seen how well he does, but it is quite likely that he will have some spectacular performances as the No. 1 offensive option on the Slovenian national team.

As for the Dallas Mavericks, they are clearly committed to building an elite team around Luka Doncic. They acquired big man Christian Wood earlier in the summer, and there’s no question that this is a beneficial move for the team. He is capable of shooting at a high level as a big man and is also a solid finisher at the rim. Wood should give the team a player that can play off of Luka Doncic.

Hopefully, we see Luka Doncic have a top-tier season next year. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him win an MVP award, and Doncic definitely has the makings of an all-time great. As of right now, though, his focus is likely on representing the national team, and we’ll have to wait to see him in action for the Mavericks.
