It might have been a fun parade for the Denver Nuggets, but not for Nikola Jokic’s wife, Natalija, as she had a stray beer can hit her flush during the celebrations.
In a clip doing the rounds on social media, the can came in and clocked her in the face, and was immediately tended to by the man on her left and Jokic behind her. Hopefully, nothing serious was reported at the time of writing, and the celebrations carried off without any more of a hitch.

The Nuggets endured a 47-year drought before winning their maiden NBA championship, and the city was pretty much on the streets celebrating with their stars who showed up and equally showed out. They surely deserved the fanfare, considering they were a clinical unit throughout the season and now are relishing the win.
What remains to be seen is if they can replicate this season’s success in the upcoming edition. If they indeed manage to, expect the parade to be a lot more intense than what was witnessed on Thursday.
Nuggets Coach Michael Malone Oozes Confidence, Says The Nuggets Are Ready To Win Another Championship
In all the party frenzy, Nuggets head coach Mike Malone wasn’t in the mood to relent, and he already declared the team’s objectives for the next season.
“I’ve got a crazy idea man. I am a little crazy and a little emotional, but let’s do this shit again. Let’s do this again. I want to be on another float, I want to come down the f***ing parade, sorry for my language. Excuse me. I want to experience this again because this city, this franchise, these fans, they deserve that. So, let’s go Nuggets, I love you guys, and let’s go celebrate.”
The Nuggets are definitely title contenders every season for the next few years. Their core is young and they have veterans that they can either retain and get more value from or look at the market for upgrades. They already planned ahead by trading for two second-round picks and a 2024 first-round pick from the Oklahoma City Thunder, so preparations are pretty much underway.
