Zion Williamson is one of the most athletic players in the entire league. There’s no doubt that his athleticism has allowed him to become a star-level player for the New Orleans Pelicans. While he missed the 2021-22 season, during the 2020-21 season, Zion Williamson averaged 27.0 PPG, 7.2 RPG, and 3.7 APG.
Obviously, due to his top-tier athleticism, Zion Williamson is a good dunker, often executing some nasty dunks in-game. It seems as though his dunking was on display in another environment today, however.
Zion Williamson’s Motion Capture Session Featured Some Elite Dunks
NBA 2K is considered the best basketball simulation franchise on the market currently. The release of NBA 2K23 is just around the corner, and there is no doubt that many people are excited about the game.
Recently, Zion Williamson was spotted doing some nasty dunks during his NBA 2K23 motion capture session. This dunk package will supposedly be in the game, and it’ll be interesting to see how it ends up looking when 2K23 players use Zion Williamson.

Hopefully, Zion Williamson ends up being as good in NBA 2K23 as he is in real life. It is quite likely that we’ll see the star have elite driving dunk and standing dunk ratings as he did in NBA 2K22.
Though there has been a lot of noise about Zion Williamson this past year, with many linking him to other destinations, Zion Williamson ended up signing a contract extension with the New Orleans Pelicans. Williamson revealed that his goal was always to stay with the New Orleans Pelicans and that this was “no secret”.
I do want to be here. That’s no secret. I feel like I’ve stood on that when I spoke.
The New Orleans Pelicans definitely have the talent to be a competitive team next season. They made the playoffs under Brandon Ingram’s leadership this season, and as an elite three-level shot creator, Ingram seems like the perfect co-star for Zion Williamson. The team notably made a win-now move for CJ McCollum ahead of the 2022 trade deadline as well, and he brings an element of veteran leadership and experience to the roster. On the court, he will likely play well off Zion Williamson due to his shooting ability.
Hopefully, we see Zion Williamson have a good year and shut the haters up next season. He is still elite when healthy, and perhaps we’ll see the young star have his best season yet.
