Shannon Sharpe made a name for himself on the football field and then on television as a sports talk show host. Sharpe loved to talk trash when he was a player and he has transitioned extremely well to television.

He is known for being a big supporter of LeBron James on TV these days and Sharpe has recently started attending Los Angeles Lakers home games. While not a lot happened when Sharpe was at the Lakers-Hawks game, things got out of control when he attended their latest game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Considering how much the Grizzlies love to talk trash too, it isn’t too surprising that they got into it with each other. The situation got serious enough for security to get involved but thankfully there was no physical altercation at least. The Grizzlies may have been a bit upset over some comments Shannon had made on television recently, which might have set this chain of events in motion.

Shannon Sharpe Went Off At Ja Morant For His Comments On The Western Conference

There’s no star in the NBA who loves to talk trash more than Ja Morant and he raised some eyebrows last month when he said he isn’t concerned about any team in the Western Conference and that they are only looking at the Celtics. He faced a fair bit of backlash when he said that and Sharpe had gotten on him as well.

He said that the last time the Grizzlies made it to the Western Conference Finals was when Ja was 13 and said that they’re not that good to be talking so much. The Grizzlies would have definitely heard those comments and they aren’t the types to forget that. When they saw Sharpe on the court they would have seen it as an opportunity to talk some smack back to him but things almost got completely out of control.
