Who Faced Tougher Competition In The NBA Finals: Michael Jordan Or LeBron James?

4 Min Read

Even before LeBron James entered the NBA, the comparisons between him and Michael Jordan were common around the league. That didn’t change after he was drafted as No. 1 overall pick in the 2003 draft, and even less when he’s trying to become the undisputed NBA GOAT.

One of the main arguments fans use to make the case for MJ or Bron is their rivals in the NBA Finals. Jordan won six championships during his 13-year stint with the Chicago Bulls. At the same time, LeBron has collected four titles in 18 years of his career.

Fans always debate who had the more challenging competition. After BestHoops shared a post comparing the LeBron James’ All-Opponent Team against Michael Jordan’s All-Opponent Team, the debate started again.

Lebron by far

Mj u forgot shaq, stockton, hardaway, bird, and a couple other HOFers

Bron like I been sayin

Mj because all his opponents can clamp you up and get a bucket

Why tf you even ask that? Kids on here gonna say LeBron cuz they only know Magic from the second slide MJ by far, that wasn’t even it you forgot a couple other superstars he faced…

Mj its not even close

lebron lose against all those mfs, mj no

Mj cause he never lost to his opponents

lebron easily but jordan is the goat

curry>gp, magic>kd, duncan>barkley, malone>dirk and kawhi>Drexler. 3-2 for bron

Jordan faced magic shaq

Bron probably, but Lefraud has only won 4 times….and he’s lost a bunch mj 6-0 in final

Both faced great Talent, but MJ faced hall of fame two way players when it was legal to Physically discourage the offensive player from scoring. If MJ played in today’s NBA he go to the line more than Harden, and the entire opponents

Taking Bron with this one Curry is considered the Greatest Point Guard of all Time KD is seen as a Top 10 player all time Some people Argue Tim Duncan to be the best Big Man of all Time and the Same with Dirk now this is dis including Tony Parker Manu Klay Draymond Iggy and some others that are considered to be the Greatest of all time at their position except for Klay Manu Dray and Iggy

Lebron had no competition in the east that’s the only reason why he made to 8 straight finals

MJ All Day

LeBron tf?

Just like the GOAT debate, this one will never end. Jordan and James fans are convinced that their favorite player is the best of all time, and nobody can change their minds. It’s still good to see that they both had to go through incredible rivals to be successful, earning the right to be top-2 players of all time.
