The 2023 NBA All-Star game is over, and it wasn’t really one of the good ones. Sure, it had high-scoring performances from both teams. But the overall lack of defense by the two teams ruined the general mood around the game.
Despite that, there were a few hilarious moments during the game that kept the fans engaged. One such moment took place between LeBron James and Damian Lillard in the locker room.
Lillard and James were recorded having a conversation about how LeBron was named young players during the NBA All-Star game but left Lillard’s name out of the conversation.
"You ain't no youngin no more."

Lillard: “I heard when you were saying all these youngins, you didn’t name me.”
James: “I sure didn’t. No I did not.”
Lillard: “I ain’t old.”
James: “You ain’t no youngin no more.”
Damian Lillard will turn 33 years old later this year, and he is certainly not a young player anymore. Keeping that in mind, it was no surprise that James called Lillard old, albeit in a hilarious way.
LeBron James Is Still One Of The Best Players In The NBA
With the NBA All-Star game over, James will now focus on helping the Los Angeles Lakers qualify for the playoffs. LeBron may be 38 years old, but he is still undeniably the best player on the Lakers’ roster.
At 38, James is currently averaging 30.0 PPG, 8.4 RPG, and 7.0 APG in the 2022-23 NBA season. In the final stretch of the season, James will hope to lead the new-look Lakers to a decent record in the Western Conference.
But is it genuinely possible, or is it just a pipedream? Well, the King definitely trusts his teammates to step up when required and ultimately help him in the most important 23 games of his regular season career. It will be exciting to see where the Lakers finish when it’s all said and done this season.
