There’s always something going on in the NBA. Even if the trade deadline is way past behind us and we’re just looking ahead of the playoffs, general managers are working overtime to try and make a deal.

Contents
  • 6. Nikola Vucevic To The Sacramento Kings
  • 5. Derrick Rose To The Chicago Bulls
  • 4. Mike Conley To The Utah Jazz
  • 3. Damian Lillard To Sign Supermax Extension With The Trail Blazers
  • 2. Anthony Davis To The Boston Celtics
  • 1. Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant To Choose Los Angeles Clippers Over New York Knicks

Notably, that means trade rumors never stop either, and with this upcoming free agency featuring some of the best players in the game, it looks like we’re going to have a summer for the ages.

Gladly for you, we at Fadeaway World also work overtime to give you the most accurate information, so today, we’re going to let you know about the latest NBA trades and free agency rumors:

6. Nikola Vucevic To The Sacramento Kings

Nikola Vucevic had a breakout year this season and, him being on the final year of his contract, everybody expected the Orlando Magic to try and trade him away, but with them still in the race for a playoff spot, they rathered keep him and risk him walking away for free.

Now, the Sacramento Kings, who have a lot of free cap space for the summer, are reportedly interested in acquiring the European Big man in the summer, at least, according to The Athletic’s Sam Amick.

5. Derrick Rose To The Chicago Bulls

Derrick Rose had a great season and was one of the frontrunners to take home the Sixth Man of the Year award before injuries kept him in the shelf once again. Still, he proved that he can still ball at quite a high-level.

Now, the former Chicago Bull may go full-circle and go back to where it all started and join the Bulls, as per K.C Johnson. Chicago has a young and promising team and he could either start or back Kris Dunn as their offensive spark of the bench.

4. Mike Conley To The Utah Jazz

Mike Conley

The Utah Jazz and the Memphis Grizzlies engaged in serious talks to complete a Rubio-Conley swap prior to this year’s trade deadline, but the deal eventually fell off as Conley was reluctant to play for another Western Conference team.

Even so, the Grizzlies need to move on from him and his terrible contract, and landing Ricky Rubio in the way may not be the worst of ideas for them. Also, The Ringer reported they’re still high on the veteran point guard.

3. Damian Lillard To Sign Supermax Extension With The Trail Blazers

DamianLillard

Damian Lillard has repeatedly stated his desire to stay at Rip City for the remainder of his career, even if that means never winning an NBA Championship. Now, ESPN’S Brian Windhorst reports both sides could work on a “Supermax extension”.

Lillard isn’t fond of NBA Superteams and even though he’s been linked with a potential trade to the Los Angeles Lakers, it’s been clear that he wants to remain a Blazer for life, so they might as well make it official already.

2. Anthony Davis To The Boston Celtics

The Latest Anthony Davis Trade Rumors: The Celtics Are Not A Long Term Destination

The New Orleans Pelicans decided to hold on to Anthony Davis in order to make a better deal for him in the summer, and everybody expects them to engage in serious talks with the Boston Celtics for the power forward.

Moreover, Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report claims Jayson Tatum will play a major part on any trade offer Danny Ainge puts together in order to get Davis, who’s a lock to leave New Orleans in the Summer.

1. Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant To Choose Los Angeles Clippers Over New York Knicks

Windhorst: Kevin Durant And Kyrie Irving Were Like A “Middle-School Couple” At NBA All-Star Game

While everybody said Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were keen to joining forces in the New York Knicks, Marc Berman of the New York Post suggests both All-Stars would be leaning towards signing with the Los Angeles Clippers instead.

Apparently, the Clippers’ promising young core and coaching situation would be enough to convince them to make a move to Los Angeles, while they could also offer them quite a lucrative deal.
