Kyrie Irving Reportedly Told His Teammates “We Gonna Figure This S**t Out But That Means Some Of Y’All Are Gonna Have To Go This Summer”

Kyrie Irving isn’t living the best moments as part of the Brooklyn Nets organization. He just returned from a two-month injury and is already making headlines regarding his team.

Following an 11-point loss to the Sixers, Irving was asked what his team needs to do to reach championship-level contention, and he feels the Nets are “one or two pieces” away. Even with Kevin Durant fully recovered.

“Collectively, I feel like we have great pieces,” Irving said, via ESPN, “but it’s pretty glaring we need one more piece or two more pieces that will complement myself, KD [Kevin Durant], DJ [DeAndre Jordan], GT [Garrett Temple], Spence [Dinwiddie], Caris [LeVert], and we’ll see how that evolves.”

Moreover, he reportedly warned his teammates that things would be better for them, but they would make some changes along the way, even if that meant parting ways with some figures on the roster.

Following a tumultuous stint with the Boston Celtics, Kyrie landed in Brooklyn to team up with Durant, trying to build a winning team. Even though Durant is still out, Kyrie has failed to take this team to be a competitor in the East, which has raised a lot of doubts around them.

This isn’t a good image as a leader for Irving, as it looks like he’s making the same mistakes he made during his days with the Celtics.

Right now the Nets are 8th in the East with an 18-22 record; this type of comment doesn’t help them, even less when they come from one of their biggest figures.
