The Atlanta Hawks Are The Perfect Destination For Brandon Ingram

2 Min Read

Among the list of players set to hit 2020 free agency is 22-year-old Brandon Ingram, who is in the midst of a breakout season with the Pelicans.

Earning his first-ever All-Star appearance this season, he is finally reaching the heights of his potential as a player. And with his potential availability this summer, there will be no shortage of teams lined up for his services.

Out of all of them, Atlanta Hawks may just be the best fit.

With Trae Young, John Collins, and Clint Capela, they have a core that could be competitive in the East next season. The addition of Ingram could help them finally become a playoff team.

As a long, bouncy wing who can create for himself and for others on the offensive end, B.I. would be an important addition to Atlanta.

Unfortunately, they won’t be the only ones vying for him this free agency. The Grizzlies and Knicks will, undoubtedly, give him a look and also have enough money to offer Ingram max money outright.

The advantage for the Hawks is an easier path to the Finals, their core of young players, and a system that could feature Ingram as opposed to hiding him behind a bigger name.

As one of the biggest fish in 2020, expect a lot of talk to circulate about B.I. and his next move, and don’t be surprised if he heads southeast.
