Things are getting serious as the world attempts to contain coronavirus. With schools, businesses and sports leagues suspended, the NBA is just the latest in a chain of entities to shut things down.
But how long will the Association lie dormant? According to Justin Russo, it will be at least a month before we see our favorite NBA players lace ’em up again.
Per Dan Woike, via mass text: "The suspension is indefinite, but from what I was told by a league official earlier this week, a player testing positive would mean everything goes on pause (at minimum) for a month."

So it seems like it’ll be a month (at minimum) before basketball can even think about a return. And when that day comes, what then?
Does the league just forgo the regular season and jump straight into the playoffs? Do they just pick up where they left off and shift everything back a month?
No doubt, this will have a large impact on not only this season but on the playoffs, free-agency, and the 2020-21 campaign as well. The pandemic will also prove very costly, as the NBA is risking the loss of hundreds of millions of dollars. Let’s hope the situation evens out in the next few weeks.
