James Wiseman is going through some growing pains right now. As he gets used to the NBA, and being a part of the Warriors, it’s clear that his journey is going to involve some bumps and bruises.

But, according to Steph Curry, it’s nothing to worry about just yet.

As the 2x MVP would kindly go on to share, he once got benched for Acie Law early in his career.

Unsurprisingly, there aren’t a whole lot of folk who even know who Acie Law is. So why on earth would he ever have started over Steph? Experience.

For young guys still learning how the NBA works, it can be pretty hard to keep up right away. It often takes years to get into pro-basketball form and, along the way, there is no shortage of bumps and bruises.

If a guy like Curry can overcome early struggles to become a 2x MVP and 3x Champion, there’s no reason why Wiseman shouldn’t be holding his head high with optimism.

As a 19-year-old big man with big aspirations and plenty of heart, he should be just fine…
