Shannon Sharpe: “Harden And KD Look Better Together Than KD And Kyrie.”

2 Min Read

With Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden, the Brooklyn Nets have a trio that many believe is good enough to win a Championship.

For others, however, there are doubts about how willing each player will be to sacrifice shot opportunities.

On UNDISPUTED, Fox Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe detailed some of his concerns, going so far as to question how it will all work with three ball-dominant superstars on one team.

“I think it’s going to be extremely difficult. Someone is going to have to sacrifice major shots. I really don’t know how this is going to work. Harden & KD look better together than KD & Kyrie.”

As a notorious LeBron-lover and Lakers supporter, it’s really no surprise that Sharpe is skeptical of the new-look Nets. On paper, they certainly stand the biggest chance of overthrowing the defending Champs, so it makes sense that Sharpe would sow the seeds of doubt against them.

But his words also do ring with truth. For things to work, somebody will have to sacrifice and take a step back on the offensive end. If nobody is willing to do that, there could be some real problems going forward.

We’ll see if they can figure it out before too long…
