Klay Thompson Hilariously Destroyed Rodney McGruder After Warriors-Pistons Game

2 Min Read

Klay Thompson went off on Detroit Pistons’ Rodney McGruder after Saturday night game between the Golden State Warriors and Detroit Pistons. The Warriors completely dominated the Pistons, getting a 118-91 win at Chase Center to improve their record to 11-9.

After the game was over, though, things got heated between both squads, as Pistons’ Rodney McGruder went after some Warriors players, trying to start something before being pushed back by some Pistons’ staffers. Klay didn’t understand why the reserve guard was acting that way and as he was getting ready to talk with his teammate Stephen Curry for his post-game interview, Thompson didn’t hesitate to trash McGruder.

“Oh no this dude might be out of the league soon, he might be mad about that – who knows? This guy is trying to start s**t like he’s a good player or something, like bro, get out of here. You might be… Alright, alright, we’re done.”

Well, that was savage indeed, as Klay destroyed 5-year McGruder with a simple comment. While the Splash Brother is recovering, trying to get back to the league at the best level, he had the chance to comment on one of his team’s games and he did a pretty good job. After the game, he talked with Curry, starring in a very funny interview.

The Warriors are now 8th in the Western Conference and even though Klay isn’t playing this season, he’s supporting his team in any way, even having their back when someone tries to attack them without any apparent reason.
