Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors were the NBA’s biggest villains for years before their eventual downfall in 2019. After Kevin Durant’s departure, the Dubs have faded from the limelight a bit, instead becoming one of the NBA’s many underdogs.

But, according to Curry, there are still some lingering feelings of animosity from other teams, stemming from the Warriors’ previous track record of dominance over five years. Here’s what he said after his team’s latest blowout loss against the Lakers:

Obviously, the Warriors were handing out losses like crazy during their hey-day. They squandered the title hopes of many different teams during their peak, and it seems many of them are enjoying getting a little bit of payback.

The question is, how much longer will the Warriors be at the bottom of the food chain? With Klay Thompson set to return next season, it’s only a matter of time before this team re-take sit place at the top.

Love them or hate them, Golden State’s days of relevancy are far from over.
