Dwyane Wade: “If I Could Come Back, In The NBA, I Want To Be Jordan Clarkson: Come Off The Bench, Shoot It Anytime I Want, Ultra Green Light, Dress Fly As Hell, Just Go Home After And Chill.”

It seems like Dwyane Wade is a big fan of Utah Jazz’s star Jordan Clarkson, who has finally found his place in the world and is balling out with the team this season. The Jazz are 1st in the Western Conference, boasting the best record in the entire NBA and added to Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, Clarkson has played a key role in that situation.

Wade is a big admirer of him and his game and he gave him the ultimate compliment during a recent edition of TNT’s Inside the NBA, claiming the if he could return to the league, he would love to be Clarkson. The guard is living a great moment right now and Wade feels there’s nothing better than that.

“If I could come back, in the NBA, I want to be Jordan Clarkson. I don’t want to be a superstar because I want to keep my knees good & all that. I want to be Jordan Clarkson: come off the bench, shoot it anytime I want, ultra green light, dress fly as hell, just go home after and chill.”

The 28-year-old has taken his game to the next level this season. The chemistry between him and his teammates is huge and whenever he steps on the court, the Jazz know they have a very good asset to lead their second unit.

No wonder he is the clear candidate to win the 6MOY award. He has had impressive performances, even dropping 40 points on big defenders like Ben Simmons. He demonstrated his offensive talents again against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night, dropping 20 points with 3 rebounds and 3 assists in a game that finished with a 117-109 win for Utah.

This man is a very valuable piece and his team knows that. They are expected to compete this season in the West and having Clarkson’s help in the playoffs will boost their chances to have a deep run. He’s averaging 18.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 39 games this campaign.
