There is no doubt that Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in the league. Giannis and his combination of size, speed, and athleticism got the Milwaukee Bucks to the top of the Conference in each of the last two seasons, but he hasn’t been able to get over the hump in the playoffs, losing to the Miami Heat in the NBA bubble.

The Milwaukee Bucks have made some moves to help Giannis Antetokounmpo, acquiring a variety of elite veterans for their roster during the offseason and more recently. They look like they are ready to challenge the top contenders in the Eastern Conference and make it to the NBA Finals. They could potentially win a championship. Due to the savvy acquisitions by the Milwaukee Bucks’ front office, Kendrick Perkins has stated that the pressure is on Giannis Antetokounmpo to perform.

The front office of the Buck has done their part by adding key pieces around Giannis like Holiday, Tucker and Portis this season…now the PRESSURE is on Giannis to get them to the promise land. Just saying tho… https://t.co/HMsMPuWgyq

Giannis Antetokounmpo needs to perform in order for the Milwaukee Bucks to do well in the playoffs. He is their superstar, and that much will be expected from him. Giannis Antetokounmpo has elite players next to him: Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton are both solid shot creators who can help shoulder the load on offense. But at the end of the day, the spotlight is going to be on Giannis Antetokounmpo himself. Hopefully, Giannis Antetokounmpo thrives when it matters most, and leads the Bucks in winning a championship.
