The Los Angeles Lakers have been inconsistent all season, currently sporting a 13-12 record and sitting 6th in the Western Conference. Many have already sounded the alarm about their performances, and they certainly don’t look like a championship-caliber squad.

However, the Los Angeles Lakers have a lot of talent, and it is plausible that they get better as the season goes along. Antonio Daniels believes that will be the case, and he states that he could see the team going on a run if they’re fully healthy.

If they’re healthy, I have a hard time seeing this Lakers team not being a top-four team. Hard time. If your main two guys, as in LeBron and Anthony Davis are healthy…You could easily see this team putting it together for 10 or 11 games, and going 9-2 or 10-1. Easily. I have a hard time seeing this team whole and healthy going 2-9 or 1-10 though. I don’t see that.

Hopefully, we see the Los Angeles Lakers figure things out. They have a very good squad on paper, with 3 stars surrounded by wily experienced veterans. The Los Angeles Lakers did beat the Boston Celtics convincingly with their 3 stars all performing relatively well. LeBron James even claimed that it was one of their best games, so perhaps there’s hope on the horizon.

LeBron James has led many championship teams, but he was eliminated in the 1st round by the Phoenix Suns last season. Perhaps he’ll manage to lead this team far in the postseason, but they must get through the slog of the regular season first. They need to do so quickly though, lest they fall into a hole they can’t climb out of. However, Antonio Daniels believes in their chances, and maybe they’ll reward his faith.
