A lot of athletes have other interests beyond basketball, that they partake in during their spare time. Some players are savvy business owners off the court or avid golfers. Others partake in the fashion world. However, it seems as though Kevin Durant isn’t one of the people that’s super into high fashion or wearing the most trendy outfit.

Bruce Brown spent some time “dissecting” Kevin Durant’s outfit after the Brooklyn Nets game against the Washington Wizards. Kevin Durant let his teammate know where his focus lies, stating that he’s a “hooper” and doesn’t do “all that fashion s*it”. It’s clear that Kevin Durant’s priorities lie with basketball, and he’s a player that is determined to get better and better.

Kevin Durant to Bruce Brown, who was dissecting his outfit: “I’m a hooper man. I don’t do all that fashion shit.”

Kevin Durant was key to the United States being able to win the gold medal at the Olympics in Tokyo, and the Brooklyn Nets will hope that he can lead them to an NBA championship as well in the upcoming season. There are many people who consider a healthy Kevin Durant as the best player in the league, and Stephen A. Smith once went as far as saying that Kevin Durant is the greatest player in the history of New York City, over legends such as Patrick Ewing. It is clear that he is highly regarded, and part of that is simply due to how hard he works on his game as a “hooper”.

It remains to be seen if the Brooklyn Nets can be contenders without Kyrie Irving, who will not be able to play in any games for the team this season. Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the league though, and he and James Harden have a chance of beating any team on a given night. Hopefully, they do well this year, and perhaps we’ll see Kevin Durant get his 3rd ring this year.
