The Phoenix Suns have just made the NBA Finals during the 2020-21 season, and they’ll be looking to have a positive season in 2021-22. However, it seems as though there may be a cloud looming over the franchise very soon.

Reporter Jordan Schultz has recently reported that the NBA is preparing for a “massive story” regarding governor Robert Sarver, who is being accused of “racism, sexism and sexual harassment”. Schultz also reported that there’s a “real chance” of Robert Sarver being forcibly removed from his position as Suns’ governor.

🚨 Breaking: The NBA is preparing for a massive story accusing #Suns owner Robert Sarver of racism, sexism and sexual harassment in a series of incidents, sources say. With enough evidence to support such claims, there’s a real chance the league would forcibly remove Sarver.

The NBA is preparing for a massive story accusing Suns owner Robert Sarver of racism, sexism and sexual harassment in a series of incidents, sources say. With enough evidence to support such claims, there’s a real chance the league would forcibly remove Sarver.

Racism, sexism, and sexual harassment are all unacceptable, and it’s obvious that if the story is true, the league should absolutely “forcibly remove” him. There’s no place for that in a league that has been outspoken about social issues in the past.

It remains to be seen if the league will comment on this issue, or whether Sarver himself will issue a statement. What’s clear though, is that this will bring scrutiny and media attention to the team, and we’ll see if more information comes up soon.
