Fans Can’t Believe LeBron James Had A Lower Dunk Rating Than Daniel Theis In NBA 2K20: ‘This Is Unbelievable’

LeBron James is one of the greatest dunkers of the ball. At 6’8 and close to 280 pounds, LeBron is one of the fastest athletes for his frame. And seeing a player of his size charging at the rim is one of the most frightening sights for any basketball player trying to guard him.

LeBron has had some ferocious dunks throughout his NBA career and has shown that despite his age, he can still dunk the ball the same way he used to when he was just a rookie in the league. James has continued to play at the highest level in the NBA and hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down.

Which makes it all the more surprising that he isn’t represented the same way in the NBA 2K games. In NBA 2K20, LeBron James had an 85 dunk rating in his stats. That is a respectable number for a player that has entered the final years of his career.

But when compared to any other player, the stat becomes more bewildering. In NBA 2K20, Daniel Theis of the Boston Celtics has an 87 dunk rating, 2 higher than that of LeBron James.

Theis is a bigger player than James and has an easier time dunking the ball. But what James lacks in size to Theis, he holds a significant advantage on athleticism. This is why fans didn’t understand why Theis had a higher rating than James for his dunking, and let their frustration out in the comments.

Perhaps James will have a higher dunk rating in NBA 2K22, as he has shown that he has the ability to dunk on anyone right now. So it is more than likely that he will have a higher rating for his dunks than NBA 2K20.
