The New York Knicks have had a great regular season this year, making it back to the playoffs for the first time since the Carmelo Anthony era. They had a lot of positives during the season, such as the emergence of Julius Randle and coach Tom Thibodeau winning the COTY award. However, during the playoffs, it was clear that they needed more offensive-minded players on the roster.
Evan Fournier has been signed to a contract by the New York Knicks, and it seems as though they’re trying to improve on the offensive end. Evan Fournier gives them a capable shooter with some ability to get his own baskets. Evan Fournier has averaged 17.1 PPG this season, and he’ll certainly be able to help the team get better at scoring.
Free agent Evan Fournier has agreed to a four-year deal that could be worth as much as $78M with the New York Knicks, source tells ESPN.

The New York Knicks look as if they’re trying to continue with a similar core, with the addition of Fournier. Derrick Rose has gotten re-signed by the New York Knicks as well, and it looks as though they’re ready to try and make it further in the playoffs. The Evan Fournier acquisition is likely going to be a good one for the team, and hopefully, they can get out of the first round this season.
