Even though people can speculate and talk about what they think is happening inside a team’s locker room, the truth is that no one can know for sure unless he’s actually there.
That’s why, albeit fans give Kyle Kuzma a hard time, mock him and his character, and even said that he didn’t get along with some of his teammates – LeBron James included – that seems far from reality.
As a matter of fact, LeBron James and Jared Dudley even threw Kuzma a going-away party following his trade to the Washington Wizards, making it pretty clear that there’s no bad blood between them.

There’s an unbreakable bond within a sports team, especially if they win an NBA Championship. Also, Kuzma and James have been through a lot over the past three seasons, including two big injuries from The King.
Kuzma has been open about his desire to be more involved in a team’s offense. He’s said that he can be a 25+ points-per-game kind of guy and an All-Star, and he will now get to prove that once and for all.
As for the Lakers, they added a top-notch player in Russell Westbrook, so even if they gave away a lot of their depth, it looks like it was still worth it.
Westbrook’s fit next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis is quite questionable, to say the least. But some analysts believe that the best players will always find a way to figure things out if they put their egos aside.
