Kevin Durant has often been hailed as the best scorer in the league. His unique combination of size, length, and extraordinary shooting ability has made him one of the toughest players to guard in the NBA. There are even people who think that he is the best player in the league.

In terms of accolades, Kevin Durant has a stacked trophy cabinet. When he retires, he is a first-ballot Hall of Famer. Right now though, he is still making life miserable for opposing defenses. All-Star Bradley Beal has recently stated that Kevin Durant is the hardest player to guard in the NBA when Marc Spears asked him about the topic. (21:17)

I am gonna say me, but Kevin Durant. Kevin Durant is very tough to guard. Only because he’s seven feet and doing everything imaginable,

Those words from Bradley Beal encapsulate why Kevin Durant is an elite scorer. Kevin Durant is seven feet tall, but he has the skills of a smaller guard. He can score from anywhere on the court and has a lethal game in isolation. There is hardly anyone that can go basket for basket with him either. Kevin Durant has one of the most complete offensive packages in the game.

Bradley Beal is in the hunt for the scoring title this season, so it is fun to see his perspective on who is the hardest player to defend. Kevin Durant just has things that separate him from the rest of the pack and he presents a unique matchup nightmare for other teams. While he has missed some time this season, it looks like his scoring ability is still intact despite his long-term injury prior to this season.
