Bradley Beal and Damian Lillard attacked the worst type of fans in the NBA on Sunday night when they took to Twitter to express their frustrations with “box score fans”. Plenty of people tend to talk about the scores they see every night instead of watching the game and see how good or bad one player actually is.
Lillard is getting tired of that and he took to social media to reveal his real thoughts on these people and their modus operandi. Lillard called out several people, saying they don’t watch games and only wait until the end of them to talk about who did this and who did that.
“As someone that watches A LOT of NBA games … not just highlights and box scores… it’s obvious that so many ppl who speak on the game don’t really watch.”

Bradley Beal took notice and echoed Lillard’s worst, calling those “fans” the worst type in the association. Beal knows very well what he’s talking about since he gets criticized for his performances and not being able to lift his team. The shooting guard is one of the best players in the league and he’s demonstrated that in the last couple of years and he had to get that off his chest.

More players like Isaiah Thomas and Devonte Graham agreed with Lillard’s claim, taking shots at those people who only care about results and nothing else.
It’s all highlights and box scores for most people!!! They really think they know the game off of that too smh https://t.co/Ok1qsbX0uD

This has to change and it’s good to see some players calling out people that don’t sit to watch basketball games and only care about criticizing based on results or highlights.
