The Milwaukee Bucks have had some of the best players of all time, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson. The Bucks have always been a well-run franchise and they have always tried to remain competitive by making deals and drafting quality prospects in the draft. They currently have one of the best players in the world in Giannis Antetokounmpo on the squad, and he is the man that hopes to win a championship for Milwaukee next.

It would be interesting to see if the Bucks were not tied to any particular salary cap. Starting with the signing of current superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and his fellow All-Star Khris Middleton, it is time to create the perfect Bucks team with a $100 Million salary cap limit. By choosing the best possible talent with the remaining salary cap after both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton are signed, here is the NBAs perfect team around The Greek Freak.

Rules:

Best Player From Team Automatically Chosen: Giannis Antetokounmpo

Maximum 4 Players From Any Team

Maximum 3 Rookie Players

Maximum $100 Million Salary Cap

Guards

Trae Young – $6,571,800

(via Newsweek)

All-Star Trae Young is the man to start at point guard for this $100 Million Milwaukee Bucks squad. Young is one of the best scorers in the league and also one of the best playmakers in his position. His numbers are terrific this season, and he will be the man trusted to make the decision making for the Bucks alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Young averaged 29.6 PPG and 9.3 APG with the Hawks last season, and he will start an incredible starting five that will be able to shoot the ball and score every time on the fastbreak. The backcourt gets better, with another All-Star joining him at the guard position.

Luka Doncic – $8,049,360

(via EssentiallySports)

Doncic is a fantastic performer and the second starter at the shooting guard position alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and Trae Young. Doncic is one of the best offensive players in the league and has proven he shines brightest in big games. He averaged 28.8 PPG for a title-contending Mavericks squad and he will form a very dynamic partnership with Trae Young.

Doncic and Young will score the ball at will, run on the break, and put constant pressure on the defense which opens up the lane for Giannis Antetokounmpo. If only Giannis had this type of talent on his team right now because these two guards would’ve been enough to get the Bucks to the Finals last season.

Kendrick Nunn – $1,663,861

Credit: USA Sports Today

Kendrick Nunn was a key role player for the Miami Heat last season. The Heat started the season as a pretty decent team on paper after the signing of Jimmy Butler, but Kendrick Nunn has had a profound impact on the squad. He averaged 15.3 PPG and 3.3 APG last season and was truly one of the best-performing rookies all year long. Nunn backs up Trae Young at the point guard spot.

OG Anunoby – $3,872,215

Credit: USA Today

Anunoby has the potential to be a very impactful two-way player, and he had a decent year last season. Anunoby averaged 10.6 PPG and 5.3 RPG for the Raptors and he will have the job of being the third-string shooting guard. It will be hard to find a better player in a bench role.

Quinn Cook – $1,000,000

Quinn Cook

Cook shoots a career 40.7% from three for his career which will come in handy playing with the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, and Trae Young. Anytime Giannis Antetokounmpo is on the team, guys get open shots, and Cook is the perfect man to backup the starters in the ultimate $100 million Milwaukee Bucks squad.

Forwards

Khris Middleton – $33,051,724

(via Sports Illustrated)

Khris Middleton is a very good player and an All-Star due to his dominant 2-way play. Middleton averaged 20.9 PPG, 6.2 RPG, and 4.3 APG while shooting 41.5% from three. Middleton’s defense is perfect for his role as the starting small forward in this team, which allows Giannis to start at power forward. Young, Doncic, and Middleton are three scorers and shooters that will help Giannis Antetokounmpo dominate opposing defenses with ease. The next forward in the lineup is the MVP himself.

Giannis Antetokounmpo – $27,528,088

Breaking: Giannis Antetokounmpo Has Won Second Consecutive MVP Award

The Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo, will be a part of this unbelievable squad. Giannis is the head of a dominant starting lineup and the undisputed best player on the squad. Giannis does his thing on the inside, attracting all the pressure on him which allows him to create shots for Luka Doncic, Trae Young, and Khris Middleton. Yikes. Giannis will be the most impactful player because of his all-around game which includes crashing the boards and playing defense. The two-time MVP will finally bring an NBA title to Milwaukee with this squad.

Michael Porter Jr. – $3,550,800

Michael Porter Jr

Michael Porter Jr has the makings of a star in today’s NBA. He is well-sized and can be an excellent all-around player. He is still young, however, so he will be the third option at the small forward position behind Giannis and Middleton. Porter averaged 9.3 PPG and 4.7 RPG last season, but he made his presence known in the playoffs. His confidence and aggressive mindset will be important when the Bucks need someone off the bench to score.

Kyle Kuzma – $3,562,178

(via International Business Times

For a salary of under $4 million, Kyle Kuzma will backup Giannis Antetokounmpo in stretches. While he has had a down year last season in comparison to the year prior, we all know the talent that Kuzma has. He can score from the inside and outside, and has total confidence in his game. He is an excellent backup option to Giannis, as he can stretch the floor and play both forward spots with ease.

Centers

Lauri Markkanen – $6,731,508

Markkanen is the perfect small-ball center for this team, mainly since he is a perfect big man who can shoot and also block shots. That’s the identity he has in the league, and he does it well. Markkanen averaged 14.7 PPG, 6.3 RPG, and 0.6 BPG as a member of the Bulls last season and there is no reason why he can’t put up these numbers again with the Bucks. He will have his share of open shots and help defensive plays when he plays with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Trae Young, so his worth on this team is particularly important.

Dwight Howard – $2,600,000

(via Silver Screen and Roll)

Howard played very well last season, averaging 7.5 PPG and 7.3 RPG in 18.9 minutes of play so he gets the nod for this team. Dwight backs up Lauri Markkanen by playing solid rim protection and offering a strong rebounding presence, so the Bucks could do a lot worse than adding a veteran and NBA champion like Dwight Howard.

Mitchell Robinson – $1,663,861

itchell Robinson 21

The Knicks have not been a good team for a few years, but athletic center Mitchell Robinson has been one bright spot for them. He is putting up 9.7 PPG and 7.0 RPG while shooting an amazing 74.2% from the field. His salary is perfect for this Bucks team and he backs up Lauri Markkanen as well.

Conclusion – Total Salary: $99,845,395

Clearly, this team would beat any of the NBA teams right now. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s scoring and playmaking can allow him to open up the play for everyone else on the squad, so Luka Doncic and Trae Young can dominate at the guard spots. This will be a fantastic backcourt that will have shooting, passing, and unbelievable leadership. Khris Middleton will play small forward on this team and his career 3-point will be critical in Milwaukee’s floor spacing while Lauri Markkanen can also space the floor and lock down the paint when he starts at center next to Giannis This lineup might be the most unstoppable offensive crew ever.

This team literally has no weakness with the likes of Michael Porter Jr, Dwight Howard, and OG Anunoby coming off the bench. This team would reach the Finals and probably win it all next season, and one can only imagine if there was a $100 million salary cap for the Milwaukee Bucks around Giannis Antetokounmpo.
