Terry Rozier Doesn’t Hide That He Wants To Play For The Los Angeles Clippers

Terry Rozier has played only one season with the Charlotte Hornets and he could be looking for a new team in the NBA this offseason. The Hornets picked LaMelo Ball with the 3rd overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft, something that could create a problem with Rozier. Well, the player isn’t missing any time and his activity on social media says a lot about what he wants to do next.

Rozier was linked with a move to Los Angeles to join the Clippers, who currently need a playmaker, and he’s not trying to hide his desire to join the team. The former Boston Celtics player liked a tweet of somebody saying he fits the Clippers culture, something that hasn’t gone unnoticed around the NBA. Rozier signed a 3-year, $56.7 million deal last year with the Hornets but seeing the recent moves by the team, his tenure with them could be nearing its end.

The Clippers are expected to keep making moves this offseason since they aren’t done reshaping their roster. Tyronn Lue and the front office have a lot of work to do to find the right pieces for the Clippers. They’re lacking playmaking and there are three big options for them to sign this offseason to create a superteam.

Nevertheless, Rozier could be a dark horse to join the Clippers and see how he works alongside Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. The Hornets are all-in on LaMelo Ball and perhaps finding a new team is the best idea for Terry, who can perform very well and help a team compete as he did with the Celtics.
